On Tuesday October 20, 2009 FEHSF hosted a Cocktail Reception at the University Club in Washington D.C. Among the many distinguished guests were the Honorable Thomas Ridge former governor and first Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Thomas Quinn, former head of the Federal Air Marshal Service, SAC Ava Cooper-Davis of the Washington Division of the DEA, SAC Matthew Horace of the Newark Division of the ATF and William McMahon Deputy Assistant Director of the ATF.

On Wednesday May 13, 2009 FEHSF held a board of directors meeting at ICE NY Field Office. After the meeting FEHSF had a dinner reception where agency heads of both NYC and Newark attended.

On Tuesday, February 24, FEHSF hosted a Cocktail reception at The Belvedere Hotel to welcome two very important assets to the New York Area; Ronald Turk, Special Agent in Charge of the ATF NY Field Division and Joseph Demarest, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI New York Field Office. This event was very well attended with a record breaking 90 people.
Thank you to everyone that participated making this event a wonderful evening. A special “Thank You” to Customs & Border Protection Explorer Post 4701 from JFK Airport for performing the opening ceremony. |

New York, NY – Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation (FEHSF) is pleased to announce that former Governors Tom Ridge and Frank Keating have joined the organization as Honorary Directors.
FEHSF is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, non-partisan organization that provides assistance to federal law enforcement personnel and their families who suffer hardships as a result of injury, illness, death or catastrophic loss.

New York, NY, August 29th,
2006 – The Federal
Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation (FEHSF) recently honored
Special Agent Jane Spetoskey of the U.S. Secret Service’s
New York Field Office. Agent Spetoskey was presented with an
award in recognition of her outstanding leadership abilities,
actions, and deeds which were characterized as truly representing
the best in public service.
Agent Spetoskey was commended for
demonstrating a high level of mission dedication, commitment,
and professionalism in the execution of her duties, while working
under extremely adverse conditions in support of the victims
of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, LA, and surrounding areas. |

On February
17, 2006, Gary Parker presented a recognition plaque to the Drug
Enforcement Administration’s Houston Field Office for their
outstanding support to the community during Hurricane Katrina.
Arnold Moorin, the Associate Special Agent in Charge, accepted
the award. The Houston Division will proudly display the plaque
in the front office. FEHSF is excited to support and recognize
the work of the men and women at DEA’s Houston Division
for protecting our community during a time of national significance.

Officer, David Stone, and Director, Mary Smart, present Tom Cruise
with a Foundation medallion in recognition of his work with the
New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project which Mr. Cruise
founded to treat federal and state enforcement officers and firemen
at the World Trade Center after 9/11. |
