Daniel “Dan” Knopf

Vice Chairman and Treasurer

Daniel “Dan” Knopf serves as Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation, bringing to FEHSF a strong background in commercial real estate, private-sector leadership, relationship building, and financial stewardship. FEHSF lists Mr. Knopf as Vice Chairman and Treasurer on its Executive Board.

Mr. Knopf is a commercial real estate professional associated with CBRE in New York. Publicly available transaction records identify him as part of CBRE teams representing clients in significant commercial real estate matters, including SNY’s 83,000-square-foot lease at 4 World Trade Center and R.R. Donnelley’s lease at 261 Madison Avenue in Manhattan.

His work in complex real estate transactions reflects the same qualities that are essential to FEHSF’s mission: judgment, trust, discretion, execution, and the ability to bring people together around important decisions. In his role as Treasurer, Mr. Knopf helps support the Foundation’s commitment to responsible stewardship and rapid response for law enforcement and national security professionals and their families.

FEHSF exists to provide emergency financial assistance to federal law enforcement professionals and their families during times of need, including line-of-duty death or injury, serious illness, family tragedy, and financial hardship. The Foundation describes itself as a “Financial First Responder,” directing funds to suffering families within 24 to 48 hours of notification.

As Vice Chairman and Treasurer, Mr. Knopf helps ensure that FEHSF remains focused, disciplined, and ready to act when crisis strikes. His service reflects the Foundation’s core promise: when those who protect this nation and their families face tragedy, hardship, injury, illness, or sudden loss, they should never stand alone.
