Dr. Jordan S. Josephson

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Jordan S. Josephson serves as Chief Medical Officer of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation, bringing to FEHSF a distinguished career in medicine, patient care, research, and public service.

An internationally recognized nasal and endoscopic sinus surgeon, Dr. Josephson has spent his career treating complex conditions involving the nose, sinuses, airway, allergies, asthma, sleep apnea, and related inflammatory disorders. He is the Director of the New York Nasal and Sinus Center in Manhattan and has been recognized for his leadership in functional nasal and endoscopic sinus surgery.

Dr. Josephson received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the State University of New York at Albany and earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical School. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Long Island Jewish Hospital, followed by fellowship training in nasal and endoscopic sinus surgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. His professional biography notes that he was the first fellowship-trained endoscopic sinus and nasal surgeon in the United States and later served as an instructor on the faculty at Johns Hopkins.

Throughout his career, Dr. Josephson has combined clinical expertise with research, education, and service. He has served as a consultant to the National Institutes of Health, published and presented internationally, taught hundreds of physicians, and appeared as a medical expert across national and regional media.

As Chief Medical Officer of FEHSF, Dr. Josephson helps guide the Foundation’s understanding of the medical crises, serious illnesses, catastrophic injuries, and family hardships that often accompany a grant request. His perspective ensures that FEHSF’s response remains compassionate, informed, and centered on the real-world needs of law enforcement and national security professionals and their families.

Dr. Josephson’s service reflects FEHSF’s core belief: when those who protect this nation or their families face medical hardship, tragedy, or sudden loss, they should never face it alone.
